The bus in Milos
The island bus network starts from Adamas, the main port. Buses connect Adamas with Plaka, Trypiti, Pollonia and several beaches, including Sarakiniko, Paleochori, Provatas and Achivadolimni. Tickets are cheap, but services are less frequent in the evening and outside the summer season, and the bus doesn’t reach most of the smaller beaches or the western part of the island.
Taxis
Taxis are useful for transfers from the port or the airport and for evenings out. The number of taxis on the island is limited, so in July and August it is best to book in advance.
Boat trips
